Heartbeats

The rhythm of love beats like the heartbeat that flows through each line of poems expressing love. The rapid pulse mirrors the uncontainable joy of a person in love. As they say, the heart beats loudly. But gradually, the beat slows, as if out of breath, when the happiness in a loving heart fades away. This could be caused by misunderstandings between lovers, or perhaps one of them turns away from the vow to love each other until the last heartbeat.

The poems in this section are about love and all the emotions it stirs. The first poems I wrote in my youth were about love. Even to this day, I still write poems that are not created by the mind but are beat out by the heart.

The following are some of the poems that my heart has composed.
A Roller Coaster Ride
Mirage
Oh C.M.
Pain’s But A Myth
Stolen Kiss
Hatred’s But A Myth
