Tangsuyuk
탕수육 – Tangsuyuk (Sweet and Sour Pork/Beef)
Jjajangmyeon and jjampong could be enjoyed more if accompanied by this Chinese-influenced Korean meat dish which could either be pork or beef. It is safe to assume that tangsuyuk could also be made of chicken or any other kind of meat. The ones I have been served before were pork.
The combination of noodle dishes and this sweet and sour crispy meat is a little bit expensive but it’s worth it.
As you can see in the video, the meat were cut into strips, battered, soaked in sauce, and garnished with sliced carrots and onions.
