닭갈비 – Dakgalbi (Spicy stir-fried chicken)

닭갈비 (dakgalbi) – chicken ribs

The main ingredients of this Korean dish are chicken breast, cabbage and sweet potato. But I was told that any chicken part will do for as long as it’s deboned. This spicy grilled chicken dish  would take 10-15 minutes to cook (right  in front of you). However, it’s worth the wait. There are side dishes to feast upon while waiting for the waiter/waitress  say “dig in.”

Lettuce and perilla leaves are ready on the side as wrappers for the diced chicken.

For me, “dakgalbi experience” is not complete without bokkeumbap.
